Video Contest: Lights, Camera, Save!

National Bank of Middlebury is excited to participate in the “Lights, Camera, Save!” video contest sponsored by the American Bankers Association (ABA) and Plinqit. Are you smart about savings? Careful with credit?

If you’re between 13 and 18 (as of October 1, 2023) and ready to put your creativity to the test, then the Lights, Camera, Save! video contest is for you. Send us a 30-second video about ways to be financially responsible, along with your contestant entry form, and you’re on your way to winning.

You must be a resident of Vermont to submit your video to National Bank of Middlebury. For other states, see the ABA List of Participating Banks.

Three national prizes are up for grabs!

Grand Prize: $5,000

Second Prize: $2,500

Third Prize: $1,000

National Bank of Middlebury is also offering some local prizes: $100 cash for our 1st place winner and selection for the national contest; $50 each for 2nd and 3rd place. Good luck!

Entering is Easy!

  1. Review the rules and guidelines in the Contestant Submission Packet.*
  2. Get to work on your video – tell a creative story about the value of solid money management skills in a way that will appeal to other teens.
  3. Submit your video and the completed submission packet by December 1, 2023.
