Financial fraud continues to grow. To help keep your funds safe, review transactions daily in digital banking to ensure transactions are accurate. If checks have cleared your account, it is important to review the image of the front and back of the check to ensure nothing has been changed and the check is endorsed by the person expected. If you notice anything out of the ordinary, please contact us immediately.

Alerts: Receive alerts about your accounts by text message or email. You can choose the types of alerts you want to receive. Some examples include a listing of recent transactions, checks cleared, transactions over a certain amount, balance over or under a certain amount, etc. To set up alerts, log in to Digital Banking and go to Settings > Alert Settings > New Alert > Alerts

Debit Card: When you pay someone with a check, you are giving that person all of your account information which increases the risk for fraud. And when a check is compromised, the account has to be closed and reopened with a new account number. When you use your debit card, your account number is never given away. If your debit card is compromised, we can instantly turn off the debit card and issue you a new one without closing your account. Learn more about debit cards »

Card Controls: Secure your debit card by using Card Controls. You can turn your debit card on or off, report it lost or stolen, automatically decline certain types of transactions, and set up debit card alerts. Just log in to Digital Banking and select Card Controls from the menu. You should see your debit card here. If you do not, please contact us.
