New Alert System Launched July 1

What you need to know:

Our new alert system went live on Thursday, July 1st. This new alert system offers real-time alerts about your account transactions, security, and more. Some example alerts are:

  • Account balance below a certain amount
  • Account overdrawn
  • Check was cleared, debit transaction posted, or deposit posted
  • Fee was charged
  • Online banking password was changed
  • Phone number was changed

You choose which alerts you would like to receive and how you would like to receive them, whether by email, text message, or push notification from the NBM app. To set up these new alerts for the first time, just log in to Online Banking and click the Enroll button below Alerts. You can also set up alerts in the NBM mobile app by tapping “More” and then “Alerts.” You will need to turn on push notifications to set up alerts in the mobile app. Learn more in the videos below:

The old alert system was discontinued on July 9

Alerts you have set up with the old system have been turned off as of Friday, July 9th. If you would like to continue to receive alerts, you will need to set them up with the new system. The old alerts will not carry over. If you have any questions or would like assistance, please contact us.
