Come explore a unique crafting opportunity by needle felting with artist Wendy-Ann Durkee on April 9th, 5-8pm. This workshop will guide you into making an adorable needle-felted wool bunny – just in time for the Easter holiday and ideal for both beginners and seasoned crafters! Needle felting, also referred to as dry felting, is the mechanical entanglement of wool fibers by poking the wool with a needle felting needle. The needle has fishhook shaped barbs at the end of it. It can be used to create both two- and three-dimensional works, in this case a bunny!

Wendy-Ann Durkee is a fiber artist and designer with 25 years of needle felting experience. She uses Vermont grown fiber that she hand-processes for her workshops. The needle-felted bunny workshop includes 15g of wool, needle felting needles, a sponge to work on, glass beads for the eyes and angora for the tail. Just bring your creativity and leave with a unique-to-you, handcrafted needle-felted bunny that’s sure to become a treasured keepsake and leave you wanting to add more to your new collection!

Class sizes are limited to allow for one-on-one instructions as needed.
