Come hear all about an unforgettable journey packed with patriotism, pageantry, and seaside serenity as we gear up to celebrate America’s 250th birthday in grand style! This exclusive group tour takes you to Norfolk and Virgina Beach for five fabulous days of history, culture and coastal charm.

The centerpiece of the trip? The world-famous Virginia International Tattoo Festival – a stirring spectacle of military music, international pride, and dazzling performance. It’s one of the most moving patriotic events you’ll ever experience. The tour will take place April 17-21, 2026.

Day 1 – Wheels Up – Hello, Virginia Beach!
Fly to Norfolk and unwind at our oceanfront hotel in Virgina Beach – your relaxing home base for the next four nights. Breathe the sea air and settle in for a week of discovery!

Day 2 – Battleships, Parades & the International Tattoo 
Step aboard the mighty Battleship Wisconsin and dive into maritime history at the Nauticus Museum.

Experience reserved seating at the colorful Parade of Nations, then cruise the harbor past the world’s largest naval base.

Visit the MacArthur Memorial, then get ready for the show-stopping International Tattoo Festival – a breathtaking blend of military precision, cultural pride and heart-pounding music!

Day 3 – Outer Banks and Wild Horses Adventure 
Head to the North Carolina coast to explore the Wright Brothers National Memorial, then bounce across sand dunes on a safari-style tour in search of the wild horses of Corolla. A true bucket-list moment!

Day 4 –Sun, Sand & your Own Seaside Escape

Enjoy a free day to relax or explore. Walk the boardwalk, shop local treasures, or soak up the sun. We’ll gather in the evening for a special farewell dinner.

Day 5 – Homeward Bound 
Fly back to Burlington and return to Middlebury with sand in your shoes and patriotic pride in your heart!
