The Hinesburg Community Resource Center is holding an open house and community celebration on January 9th from 6:00 to 7:30 pm at 51 Ballards Corner Road.
The Hinesburg Community Resource Center is excited to announce a trial run of a Hinesburg Rides “town bus’. In partnership with Affordable Transportation a mini bus will take Hinesburg residents to locations within Hinesburg for doctor’s appointments and errands. The program will start on January 15 and the bus will be available for trips every other week on Tuesday mornings from 9:30 to 11:30 am. Suggested donation is $2.
To book a ride residents should call Affordable Transportation at least 48 hours in advance so they can build a route schedule. Rides will be first come first serve based on the route and what can fit within the two hour window. Elderly and disabled residents should still call Special Services Transportation Services Agency for out of town appointments and trips or if a wheelchair ramp is needed.
