  • Banking from eCorp. Administer ACH requests such as direct deposit payroll and tax payments, order wire transfers, make loan payments and transfer funds from one National Bank of Middlebury account to another.
  • Maintaining control over your accounts. Delegate tasks while staying secure by assigning employees different levels of security access and functionality.
  • Download transaction data to personal finance programs, such as Quicken or QuickBooks.

I use online banking now, why would I want to sign up for eCorp?

eCorp has all the same functionality as online banking with the following enhancements:

  • The ability to view more information about your balances, including availability, holds, floats, and pending transfers.
  • We can customize your computer screen viewing by adding business as well as personal accounts and organizing and labeling those account lists per your instructions.
  • The ability to assign various levels of security access for your employees.
  • Online wire transfer orders.
  • Initiation of ACH transactions, whether you plan to originate few ACH transactions or originate large volumes of ACH transactions.

How do I sign up for eCorp?

eCorp sign up forms can be found on our website. Complete the forms and return them to the bank. A bank representative will be available to answer your questions. Once we set up your eCorp service, based on your specifications, we will assign you a User ID and Password and you can log on.

(If you would like to take advantage of the ACH transaction origination feature, a separate ACH contract will need to be completed.)

What is eCorp?

What are ACH transactions?

Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions. The ACH system is used for making recurring payments or collections such as direct deposit payroll, tax payments, vendor payments, and dues and donations collection. Electronic ACH transactions can save your business time and money by reducing check writing and speeding up the payment process.

How much does eCorp cost?

eCorp is a free service unless you use the wire transfer, ACH transactions, or stop payment order features. Details about the fees for those services can be found in the eCorp application forms.

What are the computer requirements to run eCorp?

You need an Internet connection and an up to date version of Microsoft Edge, Firefox, Chrome, or Safari.

How secure is the program?

eCorp uses the same security features as our current online banking service. Please see the Privacy Notice on our website.

Automated Clearing House (ACH) Origination

ACH origination provides your business with a tool to make electronic debit and credit transactions to bank accounts. You can use this tool to offer your employees direct deposit payroll, collecting membership or other fees from your customers, paying vendors, and more. You must be enrolled in eCorp to take advantage of this service. Enroll in eCorp from the Application tab above.

This service gives your business the opportunity to deposit checks from your home or business using an image scanner, saving you time and travel. It also enables you to view images of checks in the deposits you have made. You must be enrolled in eCorp to take advantage of this service. Enroll in eCorp from the Application tab above.

Positive Pay is a check fraud prevention product offered at no charge for those National Bank of Middlebury customers enrolled in eCorp. It allows you to verify that issued checks presented to NBM are not forged, altered or counterfeit.

How does it work?

When your business issues checks, this product immediately uploads the check number, date and dollar amounts via eCorp Positive Pay. As the issued checks are presented to NBM, our system compares each check with the uploaded information. If the information does not match, NBM will send an exception report email to you the following day to review the item(s) to pay or to return. If no response is provided by you, the item will be returned to payee as ‘refer to maker’.
