NBM to support SBA Veteran’s Pledge Initiative
The United States Small Business Administration has issued a challenge to banks around the country to increase their SBA business loans to veterans.
U.S. military veterans own 2.4 million businesses nationwide, account for 1.2 trillion in receipts and employ 5.8 million people. This challenge to increase loans to veterans is part of a program launched last year called Operation Boots to Business, an initiative to train veterans in business entrepreneurship.
National Bank of Middlebury is proud to support this effort for our nation’s veterans and is fully committed to the challenge.
