The Best of Michigan and Mackinac Island is a fabulous "no-fly" super-comfy affordable motorcoach trip for those who prefer to ride and explore interesting places along the way. I don’t think you’ll beat June for pleasant weather on our Michigan-bound adventure. We’ll have stops at Niagara Falls (overnight in Austinburg, Ohio) and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame before arriving in Holland, Michigan to begin our glorious Michigan exploration. Some of the places we’ll be visiting are Windmill Gardens, cherry orchards, and a Music Box Museum. A trip highlight will be a ferry ride to Mackinac Island where we’ll enjoy the day with a delightful lunch and a carriage ride. Visualize yourself sitting on the porch of the famous Grand Hotel, enjoying their rocking chairs! We’ll also spend time in Frankenmuth, known as Michigan’s Little Barvaria, giving you time to shop and explore this unique village, as well as many other sightseeing opportunities. On our return journey home, we’ll visit the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village, staying overnight in the Cleveland area. The itinerary is a nice mix of leisure and structured time that is sure to make for a rewarding adventure. I’m sure we’ll discover a local winery!
